It is a simple fact that the more prepared you are for something, the easier it will be. That is true for moving as well. The more organized and prepared you are the better your move will be. As someone with very poor organizational skills, I know how difficult this can be. My friends even joke that if my head wasn’t attached to me I would loose it! If you are one of those “do-it-yourself” kinds of people you should try to have the basic disassembly done. It is worth it to me to pay a little more and not have to lift a finger! Another good idea is to label your boxes as you pack them. I like to put colored tabs on each box and then next to the door of the room they are going to so that the movers don’t even have to ask me where they need to put the boxes.
